English Teaching Jobs Abroad in China

Send in your resume with a photo. You will need to have a current passport and be a native English speaker. Send your resume and photo via email (which is preferable) or by post (use our postal address located on the home page).

English teaching jobs abroad are available all over China. We have English teaching jobs throughout China along with other major cities and provinces in China. You can teach English in China in either a private institution or government schools, colleges and universities.

An important distinction exists in China between government and private English teaching jobs. To choose the best type of teaching job in China for you, it is important that you understand a little about the Chinese education system. The major differences between government and private teaching jobs are as follows - Government jobs pay less but require less teaching hours and are usually only Monday to Friday. Additionally with a government teaching job, you may have more flexibility to gain extra private teaching work. Private teaching jobs generally pay more, require more teaching hours per week and include teaching on a weekend and evening. A private employer can understandably be less enthusiastic about you obtaining extra private teaching (say for a competitor), however may be prepared to offer you substantially more work and other opportunities once you have demonstrated your worth.
